Festival of PAWS 5k and 1 mile Fun Run 2025 | Sat 3 May | Book @ Findarace

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday May 3rd 2025 for the 2nd annual Festival of PAWS. Bring the whole family including your four-legged loved ones, out to support Paws of Muskingum County. Choose the 5k timed run or the family friendly 1 mile untimed fun run/walk. Runners, walkers and four legged best friends of all skill levels are welcome. Small doggie strollers, costumes and best dressed attire also welcome and encouraged. ALL PROCEEDS RAISED AT THIS EVENT WILL SUPPORT THE BUILDING FUND FOR OUR FUTURE SPAY NEUTER CLINIC. RACE COURSE: Participants will start at the Rogge Pavilion, behind OUZ / Zane State, and enjoy the tree lined Collegial Woods jogging trail and the beauty of the Ohio University Zanesville/Zane State Campus. WHEN/WHERE: Saturday May 3rd, 2025, at the OUZ / Zane State Campus, 1555 Newark Rd Zanesville OH. Race starts at 12:00pm. PACKET PICK-UP & RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Packet Pickup and Race Day of race registration begins at 11:00am at the Rogge Pavilion. AWARDS: 5K - Awards will be issued to the top one Male and Female overall finishers and medals will be awarded to the top one male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Walkers are welcome! All Participants will receive a finishers Medalion. 1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK - Will not be eligible for Overall or Age group awards. T-Shirts will not be available for 1-mile Fun Run/Walk. All Participants will receive a finishers Medalion. Family based pricing available. FINISH LINE PERKS: Finish line snacks, beverage and dog treats will be available at the conclusion of the race.
