The summer swim team program offers youth in Wooster and the surrounding area an opportunity to train and compete in a competitive summer swimming program. Practices take place daily and Swim Meets are offered on evenings throughout the week. Participants have the opportunity to swim in the annual Freedlander Swim Meet. City Pool Pass All individuals registered for the summer swim program will receive a City of Wooster youth pool pass or discount on a family pass. This pool pass is valid at all City of Wooster outdoor aquatic locations through their listed August Close dates and at the YMCA of Wayne County Ellen Shapiro Natatorium through the end of the 2025 calendar year. Please note that if you have not completed and turned in a participation waiver for your child within the last year, you will need to do so before the program starts. Participation waivers can be accessed by opening the following link in a new window www.woosteroh.com/recreation and scrolling down to the participation waivers section to fill out and submit the waiver online. The form is valid for one year from the date it is signed and can be used for multiple programs offered through the Wooster Recreation and Community Center.
