NOMBS and Spin Bike Shop are bringing back the LEGENDARY Medina Time Trial!

USA Cycling Race Age:

 Your “race age” is the age you will be on December 31st. This rule exists so that a person does not have to change the age group they are entering partway through a race season. 

Start Times:

For the time trial all racers will be assigned a starting order and start time. 

Starting order will be assigned by our USA Cycling officials and will be emailed Saturday evening after close of registration. It will also be posted at packet pick up and near the start line. 

There will be no day of registration.

It is the racers responsibility to check their start time and be on the start line on time.

Racers will be released in 30 second intervals from 2 starting gates beginning at 10am.

Jr Novice Races:

You may have noticed that at the Medina TT we are not doing Cat3 Jr novice races early in the day at our normal time. For this Time Trial format event the best option for JR novice is to send them last.

Course Info and FAQ:

Q: How is a time trial different from the other NOMBS races? 

A: Instead of letting each category go off all at once (i.e. all expert men, all sport women), racers will be assigned an individual start time, and racers will be released 30 seconds apart. You'll be racing the clock!

Q: What course are we racing? 

A: We'll be racing Reagan Park in Medina, it will be a 6.25 mile lap for all adult racers, the course will be abbreviated to 5.5 miles for junior racers. It will generally run the normal route, with some additional bits thrown in just for race day.

Q: Where are we parking? 

A: The closest lot is off of Reagan Parkway, west of Northrop Elementary School. Once that lot fills up, there is plenty of parking at the school, with a walkway behind the lot connecting to the park. A map will be emailed to all racers with the parking and race start locations.
