Baby Boot Camp

Baby Boot Camp is a FREE class offered to active duty and retired military members and their families. Having a baby is both an exciting as well as scary experience, as they don’t come with instruction manuals. Many times parents are at a loss as to what to do when their newborn comes home from the hospital. Baby Boot Camp is an all-day class designed to help alleviate some of that stress by teaching parents information that they will need for the first few weeks at home. The class covers such topics as: diapering bottle and breastfeeding holds how to soothe a fussy infant safe sleep when to call the doctor and more You don’t have to be a first time parent to participate in the class, and it is recommended that parents attend when they are in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
