ETHICS IN COUNSELING THE BEREAVEDTHURSDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2018 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. When treating the bereaved many ethical questions can arise. This workshop will address a multitude of concerns including assessment and treatment, multicultural considerations, self-awareness and death anxiety, and social justice issues. OBJECTIVES: * Learn appropriate assessment tools and treatment methods to approach grieving clients * Discuss multicultural considerations within the context of bereavement * Address self-awareness and death anxiety while working with the bereaved  * Explore social justice issues for mourners Presenter: Alissa Drescher, MA, LPC, Fellow in Thanatology 3 CEU Credits Our workshops have been reviewed and approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, LPC/LMFT Licensing Board and the State of Oklahoma Board of Licensed Social Workers (provider #20180014). All ticket sales are final. No refunds. Ticket sales end 24 hours before event, no entry without advance purchase. When requested in advance, ticket purchase price may be used toward attendance at another training event in the same calendar year if available.
