INSTAR SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP – 4th & 5th grade **Campers must be
registered according the grade they WILL BE ENTERING in the FALL of
2018.** August 21 – 24, 2018, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM As students get
older, South Slough looks forward to broadening campers’ exploration
of the rich diversity of coastal habitats. Camp participants will
spend 4 days experiencing a variety of new and exciting estuary
adventures. *PLEASE NOTE* The first day of camp, August 21, will be in
Myrtle Point. We will meet at the Fred Myer parking lot in COOS BAY
the first day only. $95 per camper (Camp fees cover snacks, travel
supplies, camper designed t-shirt and camp staff) This camp requires a
minimum enrollment of 12 and has a maximum enrollment of 20. Camper
enrollment is confirmed when camper packet and payment are received by
the Friends of South Slough. Packets will be mailed within 1 -2 weeks
of reservation. Camps offer hands-on activities in the estuary with a
focus on natural history and outdoor exploration. Campers bring their
own lunch, but a snack is provided during the day. Camps are designed
to fit the abilities and interests of campers according to the grade
they will be entering in the Fall of 2018. Cancellations are
