Description Make a mask to protect you from the desert sand storms! We
will use plastic bottles and a variety of recycled materials to create
unique masks. Kristine Berg has made costume masks for film, TV, and
theater and will guide you in techniques for making your own dystopian
costume accessories. Kristine will provide specialty glues and tools.
It may get messy, so wear old clothes or bring an apron. Participants
are asked to bring the following items: -Empty and well-cleaned liquid
detergent plastic bottle at least 64 oz. size, the bigger the better;
or a one gallon empty distilled plastic water jug, or any empty one
gallon plastic jug that can be cut up.-Jar lids, bottle caps-Empty,
cleaned yogurt containers and lids-Empty, clean plastic bottles like
water bottles, juice bottles, colorful is preferred -Plastic berry
baskets, egg cartons, etc.-Leather scraps if you have
them-Scissors-Glue gun if you have one-Half yard of elastic, any width
