ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
THIS WORKSHOP OFFERS TRAINING IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING FOR CHURCH
AND MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS. IT WILL PROVIDE HANDS-ON TECHNIQES FOR
TEACHING ENGLISH TO INTERNATIONALS IN OUR COMMUNITY. WHETHER YOU'RE
AN EXPERIENCED TEACHER, JUST STARTING OUT, OR ARE INTERESTED IN
STARTING AN ESOL CLASS, THIS EVENT WILL GREATLY BENEFIT YOU.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
This workshop will be conducted by the TESOL faculty members at
Multnomah University, who have years of trianing and extensive
experience teaching English to speakers of other languages in a
variety of contexts. Our goal is to enhance the effectiveness of
volunteer teachers as they seek to reach the language needs of our
diverse communities.
