Description This program is based on research from Oregon State
University's Bone Research Laboratory. Classes are to gradually
improve balance and strength to avoid falls, maintain independence and
reduce the risk of osteoporosis-related fractures. Participants have
experienced improved strength, balance, mobility, reduced bone loss
compared to non-exercising participants. Class registration in advance
is required.
