Description This optional, free virtual session will provide an
introduction to the preparation and materials used in cyanotype
printing. Well talk through the use of photosensitive solutions to
prepare print mediums at home for later use. Cyanotypes are commonly
printed on paper or cloth, but this practice can also be applied to
wood, ceramics and glass. Well look at some examples of work to
inspire us and inform our experimentations in person. This session can
act as a stand-alone event if youd like to learn more about the
medium, or you can pair it with our in-person practice session. Once
you have registered for this class, a separate email will be sent to
the email account we have for you in ActiveNet no later than 24 before
the first class. This email will include technical support contacts,
links to virtual classrooms and passwords if necessary, as well as
information on the usage of the online classroom for your class. Age
