You could say Phoenix is new around here, if by here you mean Duplicity, an online game that allows people to create a better version of themselves. Phoenix quickly travels and falls in love, but Ash, her Maker, cannot possibly allow this. Ash has too much at stake: a soon-to-be award winning internet program, and a budding relationship with Mady, who just moved across the country to be with her.
