Holiday Tree Toss

Santa may deliver his gifts by sleigh, but this HOLIDAY SEASON YOU CAN BY CANOE! Help us give the gift of habitat to salmon in the Slough! With all the tinsel and lights removed, we will re-purpose discarded HOLIDAY TREES BY STRATEGICALLY INSERTING THEM INTO EXISTING LOG JAMS TO INCREASE BENEFICIAL SALMON HABITAT IN THE LOWER COLUMBIA SLOUGH. All are welcome at the Location: Kelley Point Park Boat Launch. HOLIDAY TREE TOSS! Please dress for the weather. This event runs rain, shine, or snow! We provide the trees, boats, and hot cocoa. You provide rain gear and HOLIDAY CHEER! Register below! Bringing a tree is optional but appreciated! Kelley Point Park Boat Launch is about 150 yards inside of Kelley Point Park on the northeast side of The Columbia Slough. This is a rough and relatively undeveloped boat ramp with a dirt and gravel parking lot.
