Ages 5-12. This class helps students practice submersion, floating,
breathing, and kicking skills and learn to perform them independently.
Students will continue learning basic water safety skills through
drills. These skills are crucial in learning how to self-save. The
combination of independent skill development and water safety help
students get comfortable and confident in and around the water.
Prerequisites: The student must be comfortable in the water, able to
submerge underwater with bubble bobs or jumps, and perform front and
back starfish floats with assistance.
