Winter 2020 A Sister Circle of Poetry & Journaling Grades 3-5 - Bryn Mawr, PA 2020

Girls will experience poetry and journaling with a twist. Through weekly prompts, they will create their own writing projects. They will develop a newfound confidence in their writing skills. Led by Coordinator of Civic Engagement, Ida Malloy, this club will expose participants to a variety of poets. It is through exposure that each individual can find a new way to read, write and experience poetry. Students will also be exposed to new forms of journaling and will be given specific prompts. Through the poetry and journaling young writers will find their voices, as well as the voices of other writers. *Please note this is a 90-minute course that runs for 6 weeks
