The Craft of Writing Novels for Young Readers

EXPLORE THE CRAFT OF WRITING NOVEL-LENGTH BOOKS FOR CHILDREN! WISSAHICKON VALLEY PUBLIC LIBRARY INVITES YOU TO JOIN US FOR A 6-PART WRITER'S WORKSHIP WITH ERIC BELL, A LOCAL AUTHOR OF TWO JUVENILE FICTION NOVELS.  DATES: 6 Thursday evenings: March 5, 12, 19 and 26; April 2 and April 9 TIME:  7 to 8:30 PM  (approximately 90 minutes) WHAT YOU WILL DO:  * Develop your writing through craft-expanding prompts * Learn to create memorable characters & compelling plots * Cultivate skills to analyze your writing & critically read books * Find your own voice & take pride in your work * (Laugh at Eric's unfunny jokes) and more!  Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insight and inspiration, but most of all, start writing!  WHO CAN ATTEND: This workshop is for aspiring authors, ages 18 to 118 only!  (Adults only.  This is NOT a workshop for children or teens).   Class size limited to 10.  If full,  a waitlist will be available on Eventbrite.
