These circles are designed for all self identified women (she/her/they). The intention is to create a held container for attendees. During our time together we will meditate, journal, share our experiences, and enjoy movement together. All are invitations in the presence of freedom.
Below are suggested items to bring -Journal and something to write with -personal item which will support you that evening. For example, a stone, photo, anything you feel drawn to.
Its important to note that confidentially is asked by all attendees. Keeping all sentiments shared by others confidential maintains the integrity of the circles, and ourselves.
The mantra come as you are promoted at Ashtanga Philadelphia holds true in this space. One is welcome to sit and observe, or just be what they are feeling that day. Organicity is welcome here!
Investment: sliding scale minimum $15
If the minimum amount of $15 is out of your budget, we are happy to accommodate. Email us if this is the case.
How do I know where I fall on the sliding scale?
Consider paying less on the scale if you:
support children or other dependents alone
have medical expenses not covered by insurance
receive public assistance
have immigration-related expenses
are an elder with limited financial support
are an unpaid community organizer
are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history
Consider paying more on the scale if you:
own the home you live in
have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money
travel recreationally
have access to family money and resources in times of need
work part time by choice
have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.) Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, I ask you to recognize this as a choice.
