Gin Cocktail Class

Come join us for our next cocktail class! This November we will be figuratively and literally shaking up the format for the first time since we began. Gin holds a very special place in our hearts here at Hops/Scotch and we would like to show you why. Unlike previous classes where we only worked with one distillery, this time we will be working with at least four (Barr Hill, Blue Coat, Malfy, and BOLS Genever)! Gin is arguably the most versatile spirits, and we can’t wait to show what this spirit can do when you know how to properly work with it. We start with a welcome drink and food at 6:30. Class starts at 7pm sharp with a chat on the history of Gin and our Four Distilleries while we sip on their portfolio, experiencing the different expressions of the same spirit. Then it’s cocktailing 101 as we go over three drinks, from which you will be crafting one for your personal consumption. After enjoying your creation, class is broken down into teams that will create their own riff on one of the cocktails for a friendly competition where three teams will take home prizes for concocting the most creative cocktail.
