Sculpture Wire Weaving Workshop with Hanna Vogel

This five session class will cover several different wire basketry techniques that can be used for everything from SCULPTURE AND INSTALLATION TO FUNCTIONAL BASKETS. Students will learn how to adapt the techniques they learn to suit the forms they want to make and how to incorporate other materials into their wire work. We will also cover flat WEAVING AND BASIC PRINCIPLES OF COMPOSITION AS THEY APPLY TO BOTH 2D AND 3D OBJECTS. Each class will include both demos and time for individual work.
