Rooted in the ancient Indian meditative technique of yoga NIDRA, IREST
IS A CONTEMPORARY EVIDENCE-based practice that leads to PHYSICAL,
PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION AND WELL-BEING. It is a
guided practice that requires only that you listen. As your body rests
in a fully supported seated or lying position, you are free to choose
to engage with the suggestions as they resonate with you in each
moment. ADAPTABLE TO YOUR UNIQUE NEEDS, the practice will guide you to
TAP INTO YOUR OWN RESOURCES and ACTIVATE YOUR INNATE SOURCE OF WISDOM
AND HEALING ENERGY.
This class offers you a SUPPORTIVE SPACE to MINDFULLY NURTURE YOUR
BODY, MIND, HEART AND SPIRIT. It is presented as a 6-PART SERIES that
takes you on a journey into yourself as you EXPLORE THE 6 PRIMARY
DIMENSIONS OF HUMAN EXPERIENCE – SENSATION, ENERGY, EMOTION,
INTELLECT, JOY, AND CONSCIOUSNESS. Engaging regularly in this practice
will help you to redesign your patterns of thinking and behaving
towards a more INTEGRATED AND BALANCED WAY OF BEING. _Attendance at
all 6 sessions, in sequence, is recommended to receive the full
benefits of the practice. _

June 10: Sensation
June 17: Energy
June 24: Emotion
July 1: Intellect
July 8: Joy
July 15: Consciousness
The intention of this series is to provide you with PRACTICAL TOOLS
FOR SELF-EMPOWERMENT to take home with you and apply IN YOUR OWN LIFE,
IN YOUR OWN TIME. Each weekly 60-MINUTE class includes a
presentation, worksheet, and 40-minute guided practice.
APPROPRIATE FOR ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY. BEGINNERS
WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED.
*NOTE: The workshop (Jun 23) and 6-week series (Sundays & Tuesdays)
are designed with the intention to offer a holistic introduction to
iRest Yoga Nidra. While you may choose to attend one or a few, it is
recommended to attend them all to receive s fully-integrated
“starter set” of tools to take home with you and apply to your own
personal practice.
REGISTRATION:
Online pre-registration is encouraged and is available until 6 hours
prior to start time of the first class. _Cash only at the
door._ Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to allow everyone
to settle in comfortably and quietly.
_YOU WILL RECEIVE A WORKSHEET RELATED TO THE THEME OF THE CLASS
ATTENDED. A COMPLETE WORKBOOK AND A RECORDING OF THE IN-CLASS IREST
PRACTICE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE SEPARATELY AFTER CLASS._
