Kipona Festival 2025

The City of HARRISBURG will host the 109th annual KIPONA FESTIVAL ALONG RIVERFRONT PARK AND CITY ISLAND FROM SATURDAY, August 30 – Monday, September 1. The event will feature a Multicultural Celebration, Family Fun Zone, Art in the Park, drone & fireworks show, live music stage, Keystone Dock Dogs competition, giant puppet parade, food trucks, a beer/wine garden, and more! PARKING – Metered street parking is free on Sunday and Monday. On Saturday, parking at the River Street Garage is $5 from 8am-5pm (must enter/exit within this time frame). There is $5 parking on City Island and $10 parking from 10am-10pm at the Market Square Garage courtesy of Park Harrisburg. BIKES/PUBLIC TRANSIT - free bike parking will be provided at Walnut & Forster Streets along Riverfront Park courtesy of Recycle Bicycle. The train station is just 3 blocks away.
