Join Alex Mery & The Townsmen LIVE or ONLINE for Rocking the Valley's Meet the Bands show on Tuesday, August 1st. "It all started here. From a small studio on the 3rd floor of the Hamilton Business Center to the Jetport, Rocking the Valley's flagship show has set the pace with innovative and engaging interviews, taking chances with odd formats, conversations and guests (yes, we did have the owner of the Dead People's Server website on once). From emerging talent, garage bands to the leading talent in the Valley, Rocking the Valley has a constant flow of musicians, writers and producers going across our stage. To date, we estimate over some 300 individuals have come across our stage. That's an average of ten people a month over a period of thirty months. Seasoned Hosts Stephen Christopher, Bethe Ellyn and Earl Andrews interview and move a two hour show that features one or more acts, musicians or bands. We strive to include as much music as we can either live or recorded by the band on the hotseat. All performers are local. Rocking the Valley is dedicated to supporting local music. This show has been in production since January of 2014, when it was a one hour show broadcast live on Prolifick radio. Stephen Christopher, along with Charlie Mitchel and later Kindra Rae brought the show through it's initial growing pains and it matured to Meet the Bands and premiered at the Jetport in June of 2015. Bethe Ellyn joined the show at this time. Her quick wit and snappy style balanced off Stephen Christopher's style and their act was formed. They expanded into a Johnny Cash duet (sometimes) and do other small singing together. Bethe Ellyn in the lead singer in the band, Friction. In September of 2015, Earl Andrews joined the team. His dry humor style completed the trio lending them to one of the most creative interviewing teams in the Lehigh Valley. "
