Many Paths to the Divine: Devotional Music from the Indian and Arab Traditions

On April 27th, the Nakashima Foundation for Peace will welcome MUSICIANS TAOUFIK BEN AMOR AND GAURAV SHAH TO OUR NEW HOPE CAMPUS FOR A CONCERT OF MYSTICAL SOUNDS AND SHARED DEVOTION, “Many PATHS TO THE DIVINE: DEVOTIONAL MUSIC FROM THE INDIAN AND ARAB TRADITIONS.“The performance will explore meeting points where different languages, spiritual and mystical traditions use the same metaphors of love and intoxication. Shah and Ben Amor have been making music together for more than two decades. They hope that you will find inspiration in this vibrant collaboration, a contemporary manifestation of harmony between musical and spiritual traditions from centuries past, a role-model for World Peace in the future.
