This workshop highlights several aspects of preparing for and exhibiting at a juried CRAFT SHOW WITH 3 TOPICS: Applying for a show, including the types of images you typically need for an application. Setting up an attractive booth – from basic structural and safety considerations to displaying your work in an attractive manner. Meeting and greeting customers, closing a sale and dealing with “difficult” customers. We will have an interactive exercise in setting up a booth, so please bring 2-3 examples of your work, including any display equipment you use. Presenters include Master Artisan Paula Lewis, enamelist and PGC Vice President, Standards; and Master Artisan Dan Hayward, stained glass and fused glass, PGC Board member and workshop instructor, and Master Artisan, Carol Heisler, Quilter, and Fine CRAFT FAIR MANAGER. Cancellation/Refund Policy: The Pennsylvania Guild of CRAFTSMEN DOES NOT PROVIDE CASH REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION OF CLASSES UNLESS THE CLASS IS CANCELED BY THE INSTRUCTOR OR THE GUILD.
