Steel City Squares March Square Dance + Flatfooting Workshop

Becky Hill is coming to PGH to teach flatfooting (Appalachian percussive dance) and call our square dance! 

Beginner- and family-friendly! All dances are traditional Appalachian squares with a live band and caller. Dances are taught and all are welcome. No experience or partner necessary!

• 6-7pm - Flatfooting Workshop
• 7-8pm - Open old-time jam + potluck starts
• 8-11pm - Dance
• Caller: Becky Hill
• Band: Steel City Squares Stringband (Nathan Vargo, Adam Schweigert, Dave Shepherd, Mitch Hall)

Bring your own drinks & water, and something for the potluck if you'd like. There will be an open old-time jam before the dance from 7-8 if you want to bring instruments or just come and listen.

$15 suggested donation at the door to cover the venue, musicians, and caller. Flatfooting workshop is a separate $15 suggeested donation. Cash or Venmo accepted. No one will be turned away for lack of funds! Children 12 & under are free.
