Phill Fest is a Florida-based guitarist and composer known for blending Brazilian and American jazz influences. The son of renowned Brazilian jazz pianist Manfredo Fest, he grew up immersed in music, often backstage with legends like Sérgio Mendes. Initially trained in clarinet and violin, he took up guitar at 16 and later studied at Music Tech of Minneapolis. Phill recorded four albums with his father for Concord Jazz, each featuring one of his original compositions. With a style that fuses jazz, bossa nova, and contemporary sounds, he continues to share his unique musical voice worldwide.
