Intro to Vegetable Seed Starting

Free workshop on seed STARTING FOR AGES 12 AND UP! Get everything you need to start your veggie plants this spring! During this FREE hands-on workshop for adults and children ages 12 and up, participants will get everything they need to start a mini garden -- seeds, pots, seed starting mix (dirt), and more, plus lots of tips and growing wisdom. You don't have to have a green thumb to join us - this class is for everyone - from total beginners to gardening, to seasoned gardeners who've never started seeds, to those who have started seeds but want a few extra tips and tricks. A variety of seeds will be available, and participants can choose to start enough seeds to start a fun mini-garden, such as a salsa garden, salad garden and more! Join us to discover the joy of watching a tiny seed turn from a simple sprout to pounds upon pounds of fresh, healthy food!
