Tree Planting at Ashbridge Preserve-Spring 2020

NOTE: TREE PLANTING WILL TAKE PLACE ON THREE SEPARATE DAYS: MAY 29, 30 & 31. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR. EXACT TIME DEPENDS ON THE PROGRESS WE MAKE. Join Willistown Conservation Trust for a native tree planting along Ridley Creek in Ashbridge Preserve. This project is generously funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources and TreeVitalize. our volunteer efforts will help us: * Stabilize the stream bank * Mitigate the impact of flooding and erosion * Increase the PRESERVE’s ability to store carbon _and_ filter particulate pollution * Improve the ecological value of Ashbridge Preserve Suitable for participants of all ages, however children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please Note: * End times may be flexible; depends on the progress we make each day. * This event will take place rain or shine. Please come prepared with clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and wet!
