2020 Trip To Philly

Ready to Work AND Play the Philly Way? During this fun trip to Philadelphia, our TLLC Youth will serve with urban gardening initiatives, help with kids summer programs, and witness the immense pride of Philadelphia’s residents. It’s almost impossible to serve in this community without seeing the impact of hunger. Whether it’s weeding at an urban garden, packing boxes at a food distribution center, or helping load or unload food deliveries to food pantries, the high school Youth of TLLC will be a part of feeding the city. In the evenings, they will get to run up the “Rocky Steps” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, explore Old City, attend a church service and spend time at a community cookout.  Throughout the year we will all work together to raise funds for the trip.  The more we can raise, the less the final 'ticket' price will be.  We have lots of fun plans for ways we will serve our community and raise the funds needed to make this trip affordable for everyone. Eligiblity is for students currently in 9th grade-12th grade..  Refunds may be available upon request, at the discretion of the Youth Ministry team.
