Marmar and Honeypie Cooking [http://honeypiecooking.com]. Each event
connects the cooking process with a local maker, purveyor, and/or
grower, culminating in a meal, along with a special pop-up shop.The
focus of our first event of the series is on the versatility of local
herbs, and features Elise Hanks. Elise is a knowledgeable HERBALIST
AND THE FOUNDER OF Terra Luna Herbals [http://terralunaherbals.com].
In addition to her core services and products, Elise makes shrubs that
are used in Martha’s drinks, and she is also Martha's florist and
friend.
Elise and Shayna will explore multiple holistic and culinary uses of
herbs. Our vegan menu includes (allergies can be accomodated):

Herbed-Celebration Salad

Calendula Cookies and Sage-Chocolate Cake, with Herb-Infused Fruit
Terra Luna Herbals’ pop-up shop, showcasing Elise’s beautiful,
handmade self care products and her herbal CSA, will be available
throughout the night. Herbal-infused cocktail specials prepared by
Martha’s multi-talented Mike Landers will be available throughout
the evening for additional purchase.
