Rhonda Saltzman A native to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Chef Rhonda
Saltzman discovered her passion for food at a young age while watching
her father and grandmother cook in their home kitchen. Saltzman’s
professional journey into the food world began when she enrolled at
the Culinary Institute of America. In 2013, she received a Bachelor's
degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Once graduated,
Saltzman returned to Philadelphia to hone her skills as a line cook.
In 2016, her hunger to continue learning led her to the world of
baking and pastry. Rhonda has spent the last few years developing her
pastry skills while remaining true to her culinary roots. Currently,
she bakes part-time for the RTM's Flying Monkey Bakery and works as a
chef at Hungry Pigeon under Chef Patrick O’Malley. Chef Rhonda
Saltzman delights in sharing her knowledge and culinary skills with
others through various workshops and mentoring opportunities; she
looks forward to instructing a class in City Kitchen this Valentine's
