Classroom Doors Open: 6:45pm / Class Starts at 7:00pm ------------------------- This hands-on class is for people (single or partnered) who are curious about and/or want to introduce Power Exchange into their relationships. We will cover the fundamentals of Power Exchange relationships, including types of Power Exchange dynamics, differentiating Power Exchange from abuse, and pertinent terminology you need to know to get started. We will discuss how to draft a Power Exchange contract and to negotiate with your partner to develop a dynamic that is mutually fulfilling. Attendees will complete a personal assessment to help clarify Power Exchange goals and we will work together to come up with a game plan. There will be time at the end of the class for Q&A. All orientations and experience levels are welcome! ------------------------- Mia Action is a Philadelphia-based Dominatrix, artist and BDSM educator. She teaches on a wide array of BDSM techniques and her main areas of interest include Dominant/submissive relationships, psychological kink, and acceptance of alternative sexuality. She has facilitated workshops on BDSM and sex work at the Leather Archives & Museum, The Velvet Lily, Haverford College, Kean University, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and Drexel University, as well as private consultations. Mia is heavily involved in the BDSM community and donates a great deal of time to lifestyle events as an act of service. She runs several events in Philadelphia such as Flow Munch, the Power Exchange Roundtable and Radical Perverts Potluck. She also co-teaches “Welcome to the Kink Community'' at Philly Music Hall.
