With an immensely diverse body of creative work, Ed EMSHWILLER (1925–1990) is perhaps one of the most significant, yet under-recognized, artists of the latter half of the 20th century. An extensive exhibition featuring paintings, illustrations, videos and archival material will be open Oct. 18–Dec. 7 at University of the Arts’ Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery. A complementary film series of his work is happening at Lightbox Film Center, 3701 Chestnut St., PHILADELPHIA 19104.
