What is the ODUNDE Festival?ODUNDE is the largest African
American festival in the USA and attracts up to 500,000 attendees each
year, covering 15-city blocks in South Philadelphia. ODUNDE kicks off
with a colorful parade in honor of the Goddess Yoruba. Visitors can
also enjoy over 100 arts & craft stands, and purchase handmade items
such as decorative masks, bangle bracelets and African clothing and
gifts. With two live stages, the festival's line up each year
includes internationally known African and Caribbean performers,
dignitaries, folk artists and cultural leaders. A festival is the
perfect opportunity to sample traditional African food, from one of
the many vendors, such as fried fish, chicken and curry goat. Need to
