This subterranean nightclub in Philly’s business district stands out on the local nightclub scene with a funky, retro aesthetic and a giant ball pit (yes, you heard that right). The 15,000-square-foot space is only open on Friday and Saturday nights (and the occasional Thursday), when a rotating list of guest DJs rolls through to play throwback hits from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s. There’s no dress code, but be sure to chuck your shoes and heels before crashing into that ball pit.

What is Concourse Dance Bar?

Concourse is an underground dance bar with retro vibes, concert level speakers, a state of the art light system, 20 person ball pit, vintage photo booth, draft beers and cocktails and an environment that invites everyone.

What’s the deal with the name?

As the saying goes: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Before we set up shop, Concourse was simply the name where rail lines met. Now, Concourse is a different kind of meeting place. It’s where old-school music meets a high tech dance floor and childhood fun meets grown up parties. Sure, it’ll get a lil’ weird, but isn’t it nice to let your freak flag fly?

How old do I have to be to get in?

We are a 21+ venue. Big kids only. Sorry kiddos ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Can I come on my 21st birthday?

YES, but no sooner than midnight on the actual date that you turn 21.

What are acceptable forms of identification to get in?

Below are the forms of ID that are accepted in the state of Pennsylvania:

U.S. government issued driver's license

U.S. government issued ID card

U.S. government issued military ID

U.S. government issued passport

Foreign government issued passports

*NO foreign IDs or foreign driver's licenses

*NO expire IDs

*Make sure it is a valid, up to date, and the original copy

Do you charge a cover?

Yes, but only 20 bucks and you get to jump in a ball pit...

Is smoking allowed?

We do not allow smoking or vaping indoors.

Is there coat check?

When it’s cold, we offer coat check…so seasonally from October-ish to April-ish. It is $3/coat starting at 9PM.

Do you have table/bottle service?

Nope we like to keep it low key here. But we do have a mezzanine and/or a private room you can reserve if you schedule a private party with us - which you can do here.

What are your hours?

Concourse is open Fridays and Saturdays 9PM - 2AM. Check out our Facebook to see other special events.

Is there a wheelchair accessible entrance?

Absolutely, just ask for a bouncer at the main entrance who will escort you there.

What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in -- we don’t judge here. BUT If you would like to enter the ball pit no shoes or high heels allowed. We will offer peds if you need.

How do I get into the ball pit?

The ball pit is first come, first serve with a host to provide additional direction.

I lost my phone/keys/wallet/etc inside the ball pit - Now what?

Concourse is not responsible for any lost or stolen items inside the venue but you can fill out a lost item form here and we will try to help you find it.
