Koresh School of Dance-Intermediate Modern Jazz with Melissa Rector
»
Building on the basic principles of Modern Dance, this class challenges the dancer to develop her/his own dance voice through a deepening awareness of the dance movement concepts. Lengthened dance sequences and an increased understanding of musicality are stressed. Dancers also continue to explore choreographic concepts in creating their own dance movement and phrasing which are incorporated within the end-of-year performance. The performance is a culminating event of a season-long creative process, therefore registering for all three semesters is recommended.
