The UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH Institute for CYBER LAW, Policy, and
Security (PITT CYBER) in PARTNERSHIP WITH ROBERT MORRIS UNIVERSITY is
hosting a week-long Air Force Association CYBERCAMP FOR HIGH SCHOOL
STUDENTS (entering 9th grade – graduating 12th grade) from JULY
23-27, 2018.
The camp is designed for a range of technical skill levels,
including introductory digital literacy, and is focused on CYBER
ETHICS AND SYSTEMS SECURITY. The camp is free for all students as a
part of our commitment to the region's workforce development. The camp
begins at 9 AM AND CONCLUDES AT 3 PM Monday through Friday, except for
an early check-in period on Monday.
This year we are pleased to partner with RMU, who will host a
SATELLITE LOCATION for the standard curriculum. We are also excited to
offer a NEW ADVANCED CAMP for those who completed last year's camp.
Please note that space for the Advanced Camp is extremely limited, and
registration for it _requires_ successful completion of our 2017 AFA
CYBERCAMP OR PARTICIPATION IN CYBERPATRIOT X.
When registering, also please be sure to select ONLY ONE CAMP
(STANDARD or ADVANCED) and CAMPUS LOCATION (PITT or RMU). Unless
otherwise noted, all information entered on the registration form
should be that of the student.
For the latest information please visit pi.tt/cybercamp
[https://pi.tt/cybercamp] or email AFACamp@pitt.edu.
We're excited for you to join us!
