SCHOOL OF DRAMA TOURSThe SCHOOL OF DRAMA AT CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY OFFERS IN-depth TOURS OF THE PURNELL CENTER FOR THE ARTS FOR STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY AND SCHOOL. TOURS ARE MONDAY-Friday at noon, please. The TOURS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND ARE CONDUCTED BY CURRENT SCHOOL OF DRAMA STUDENTS UNDER THE ADVISEMENT OF SCHOOL OF DRAMA STAFF MEMBERS. TOURS TYPICALLY LAST 45-60 minutes and they start in the Purnell Center lobby, second level, at the top of the main staircase. Please arrive promptly.  DURING THE TOUR YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT: * Our state of the art classrooms and performance venues * The School of Drama Audition & Application process * Our conservatory training program * Our esteemed and internationally recognized faculty * Where School of Drama alums are working in the industry * What life is like for a student at the School of Drama Because of the sensitive nature of many of our classes, the SCHOOL OF DRAMA DOES NOT HAVE AN OPEN DOOR POLICY ON VISITING STUDENTS ATTENDING CLASSES. We will have classes available during Turn Tartan Overnight Weekends [https://admission.enrollment.cmu.edu/pages/turn-tartan-overnight%20] for students interested in attending Carnegie Mellon University.
