National Security Briefing for Teachers

During this workshop, senior officers representing several branches of the United States military will address various national security issues and the role that the military plays in responding to these challenges. Teachers will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with the officers on global security topics and discuss ways to incorporate this content into their classrooms. The day will be led by COL JONATHAN A. SHINE, U.S. Army, Assistant Professor of Strategy, Department of NATIONAL SECURITY AND STRATEGY, U.S. Army War College Act 48 hours will be available. Please have your PPID number available at the event.  TEACHERS CAN ATTEND AT A SUBSIDIZED RATE OF $35.  Continental breakfast and lunch provided.
