AIU Reading Achievement Center's ELA Symposium, Grades 6-8

Each year, the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Reading Achievement Center provides two symposiums (grades 3-5 and grades 6-8) that focus on expert literacy practices aligned to the PA Core standards along with modeled instruction that meets the rigor of the standards. The 2020 ELA Sympsoium for teachers in grades 6-8 will focus on close reading.  No cost to attend. Workshop will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be on your own.
