EVENT DESCRIPTION | As STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
Arts, and Math) become increasingly popular across the region, how
might we intentionally design PROJECT-BASED LEARNING EXPERIENCES THAT
ARE INVITING AND ACCESSIBLE TO STUDENTS WITH SPECIFIC ACADEMIC NEEDS.
This workshop will delve into popular STEAM CONCEPTS, explore
independent education plans, and provide participants the opportunity
to design a universally designed STEAM PROJECT LEVERAGING Universal
design for learning

framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people
based on scientific insights into how humans learn.
SKILL LEVEL | Beginner – This workshop is appropriate for STEAM
teachers interested in designing inclusive and accessible learning
