Tea 101

Tea 101 lets you learn tea basics and sample different teas Tea 101 classes are held at Simpson House Tea Room on select Wednesday evenings at 7:00 . Learn the different types of tea including the growing regions, processing and brewing tips including time and water temperature. Sample ten different teas while enjoying tales and tidbits about tea history, customs and etiquette. Classes will be taught by Karin Mason, a Specialty Tea Institute member and Level 4 tea professional. During a short intermission, enjoy a pot of seasonal tea and freshly baked mini scones with all the trimmings. After class take home a bag of seasonal tea along to start brewing at home.
