UPRISING: 5K RUN & 1.36 MILE WALK FOR AUTISM AND ID/D Join us for The Uprising, a community-driven 5K run and 1.36-mile walk dedicated to raising awareness and support for individuals with autism and intellectual & developmental disabilities (ID/D). Hosted by EmpowerU Specialty Fitness in partnership with the Eagles Autism Foundation of West Chester University, this event is more than just a raceits a movement for inclusion, empowerment, and positive change. The 1.36-mile walk is a powerful symbol, representing the 1 in 36 individuals born with autism each year. Every step we take together helps raise awareness, foster acceptance, and provide resources for individuals and families within the autism and ID/D community.
