WOMEN IN THE WORD: A WORKSHOP 2019

   WOMEN IN THE WORD: A WORKSHOP ...serves the church by helping women study Scripture in a way that is informed, reasoned, and reverent — strengthening both those who teach and those who study on their own. In large group sessions and interactive study groups, this annual event focuses on women helping women interpret, apply, and present the Bible to others. We are now in our fourteenth year.   2019 GENERAL SESSIONS Rachel Vendsel FINDING CHRIST IN OLD TESTAMENT APPEARANCES OF GOD   Session  1:  God-Centered Interpretation Session  2:  God Appearing: an Old Testament Survey Session  3:  God Appearing: a Study of Judges 13 Session  4:  God Appearing: Jesus, the Messiah      STUDY GROUP SESSIONS Study Groups, consisting of 6 registrants and a leader, focus on a specific book of the Bible.   As they participate in guided discussions of that book, group members develop better skills for "rightly handling the word of truth."
