Charleston Earth Day Marsh Clean Up

Keep our Lowcountry beautiful and join us for an afternoon of fun!Join us for the 2019 Charleston Earth Day marsh clean up celebration at The Charleston Riverdogs Stadium! After the event, enjoy Patagonia Cerveza beer samplings who has partnered with the National Forest Foundation. For every case of beer sold, Patagonia Cerveza will plant one tree in the Palachucola Wildlife Management Area located in South Carolina. All clean up participants will receive a free athletic sweat wicking t-shirt, ticket to the Riverdogs game, and picnic at The Joe! EVENT TIMELINE: 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm Marsh clean up 6:00 pm - Gates open and enjoy picnic food and complimentary beverages (plus Patagonia samples) at ball park 7:05 pm - Game time 7:30 pm - Picnic concludes   FAQS: Q) What to wear? A) Comfortable clothes you’d want to do yard work in. Sneakers are must as the marsh may be a little muddy!   Q) Should I bring a change of clothes? A) Yes, we’d recommend you bring an extra t-shirt to change into after the cleanup. We will be providing a complimentary t-shirt to all clean up participants.   Q) Can we change before the game? A) Yes, The Joe has restrooms all volunteers are welcome to use to change before or after game.   Q) Do we need to bring supplies to pick up items? A) All necessary supplies to clean and remove debris will be supplied by Keep Charleston Beautiful.
