Instructor: Allen Riddick is an Aiken native who graduated from Clemson University in 1978 and later received a master's degree from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. He has been the Aiken County Historical Society president since 1999 and has written three local history books. He is an avid collector of Aiken memorabilia, especially vintage photographs. Description: Allen has accumulated an impressive collection of photographs showing “Old Aiken,” a place most of today’s residents wouldn’t recognize. This course will take people back in time to when Aiken was a very different town.
