Join Parks and Recreation on Friday, for the Chesterfield Fourth of July Celebration at Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. This event includes fireworks, food vendors, kids zone, live music by BrassWind, special entertainment and more.ENTERTAINMENT KIDS ZONE The kids zone will feature bounce houses, a gaming truck and roaming entertainers. The kids zone will close at 8:30 p.m. Entry is $5 payable by cash, credit card or debit card. MUSIC This year’s main stage musical entertainment, BrassWind, is composed completely of retired/active-duty military and features captivating vocalists and brass and rhythm sections. The band will play a first set 6 p.m. and a second set following the National Anthem featuring the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Honor Guard. A DJ will provide musical entertainment when the band is not on stage. Additionally, the Dixieland Express , a four-piece New Orleans style jazz band, and will greet attendees as they arrive at the main entrance gate with patriotic music. Gates open at 5 p.m.; fireworks will begin at dark. There is no rain date. COST This event is free. Attendees can leave and return at any time.
