Nordic Butikk & Cultural Fair

You're invited to the free Nordic Butikk & Cultural Fair on Thursday, July 17, 2025. It's sponsored by the Daughters of Norway national convention at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Delegates from 32 lodges around the country will participate in this first-time ever event in South Dakota.

The Nordic Butikk & Cultural Fair will be free and open to the public It will feature local and regional vendors, as well as Norwegian and Norwegian-American cultural and informational exhibits, and craft demonstrations such as rosemaling, spinning wool, and rosemaling. Nordic items for sale will include Norwegian sweaters and mittens, rosemaling, jewelry, wood carvings, heritage pieces, and Scandinavian collectibles.

We'll even have an expert jeweler from Norway on hand to give evaluations of your sølje (silver jewelry)!
