The Helen Ross-McNabb Center is visiting the 134ARW to discuss the
effects of DEPLOYMENTS ON CHILDREN AND HOW TO ASSIST AND SUPPORT THEM.
A deployment creates big changes for a family, and for young children
a deployment can be a difficult, stressful time to navigate. A
counselor from the Helen Ross-McNabb Center will discuss some of the
symptoms associated with deployment anxiety, address techniques you
can use to make the deployment easier for your child to handle, and
answer questions about the type of counseling that is available both
for you and your child.
A light dinner is being provided by some of our community partners.
Please note: Adults must have a valid DoD ID card, and children should
be of the age to sit quietly for the duration of the event.
