Information Step back in time to enjoy cultural holiday decorations
and traditions with an afternoon full of fun historical and cultural
holiday traditions. Each location will offer holiday treats, a craft
station will be available at Tinker Cottage for the kids, and live

Traditions: African American, Hispanic, Irish, Italian, Lithuanian,
and Polish Holiday Traditions Tinker Swiss Cottage, 411 Kent Street
Victorian Christmas Traditions Tickets can be purchased prior to the
event as a multi-museum pass ($10/person) or you can pay $5/person at
the door at each museum on the day of the event. Children 5 and under

Museum - 411 Kent St., Rockford, IL 61102 - Take E. State Street
(Business 20) into Downtown Rockford, continue on E. State Street to
Winnebago, turn left onto Winnebago and continue to the Tinker Swiss
Cottage sign. Turn left into the Tinker driveway. Parallel parking is
available alongside the road or visitors may continue past the Visitor
Center and Cottage to the main parking lot. From Bypass 20, take the
Main Street exit and head north on South Main Street to Kent Street.
Turn left onto Kent and go one block and turn right into the Tinker

From I-90 and U.S. Business 20 (E. State St.): West 6.5 miles on
Business 20 to IL 2 southbound (S. Church St.-S. Main St.). Turn left
(south) on IL 2 for a little over one mile. Museum is on the
right-hand side of S. Main Street. ----- From I-39: Go west on Bypass
U.S. 20 to IL 2 (S. Main St.). Turn north on IL 2 to the museum on the
west side of the street. ----- Parking is available on the street or
in the lot on the corner of S. Main St. and Morgan Street, north of
