_SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY: _
9:00 am - 9:30 am Welcome
9:30 am -11:00 am Breakout sessions
* NUTRITION AND HEALTHY CHOICES WITH LINDA L. QUIMBY, MS, RD, LDN,
CLINICAL DIETITIAN with the University of Tennessee Medical Center
When you’re grieving you might experience decision fatigue. This
happens in response to the number of decisions you’ve been forced to
make over a very short period of time, deteriorating the quality of
those decisions. As you can imagine, what you eat – the result of
small decisions we make throughout each day – is a common victim of
decision fatigue. Suddenly, making “good” choices about what you
eat seems strenuous and even debilitating. So you opt out of the
decision altogether and forgo eating, or make the easiest and most
comforting decision and gulp down an unhealthy meal of French fries
and donut holes. Linda will share expert advice on proper nutrition
and health choices.
* LIFE LEGACY AND LIFE CARE PLANNING WITH GABRIELLE BLAKE, LCSW Do
you ever wonder if you've planned for the unexpected things of life or
set about an intention for how you want to live your life? Life Legacy
and life care planning is about so much more than what you'll someday
leave behind. Gabe, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Elder Care
Coordinator with Franklin and Kyle Elder Law will offer insight into
Life Care Planning and creating a legacy for yourself and your family
in remembrance of your child.

self-awareness. Alex, a Certified Yoga instructor and owner of Fox Den
